New Colombo Plan 2018

White Ribbon Day 2017

Each year, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is marked on 25th November. From 20-24 November 2017, the Australian Consulate General invited the public to tie a white ribbon to the gates of the chancery building in support of the campaign for the elimination of violence against women. Read more.

HMAS Adelaide (I)

The Australian Consul-General joined the Mayor and Honorary Mayor of Noumea, the Free France Foundation in New Caledonia and the representative of the FANC at the Gare Maritime in unveiling on Tuesday 19 September a plaque commemorating the role of HMAS Adelaide (I) during the ralliement of New Caledonia. NAIDOC Week 2017

The Australian Consulate General was pleased to present the documentary film “Zach’s Ceremony” in the context of NAIDOC Week 2017. The film screened in partnership with the Pouembout Agricultural High School, the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, the Loyalty Islands Province and the Médiathèque de Lohnä in Lifou. Read more.
